Rats! Can you help Room Three?

This term we are completing a unit of work, our AKO or investigation, around Rats and Rodents we are looking at rats, rodents and whether there might be any around Room Three and Auroa Primary School.  This is where you can help us - have you had any experiences in your school or area with rodents? what does your school do to prevent them from appearing? Science Fair 2015: Tomorrow @APS

Tomorrow is the Science Fair at Auroa Primary School.  The students from Room Three, and the other classes at Auroa Primary School have been conducting an AKO (investigation) for the past two terms.  It culminates in tomorrows open day when our hall is open from 9am until 8pm.  Members of the public and family are welcome to come to the school during this time and see some of the amazing projects that our students have been working on.   This slideshow is a sneak peak of some of the projects from the students of Room Three.

AKO: Room One Business Plans

Later this term the students of Room One, and the senior school at Auroa Primary School in general, are holding a market day where they sell products that have been created as part of this terms AKO investigation. These business plans are some of the examples that have been created by students in the class.

AKO: Business Plans and Ideas from Room One

This term the students of Room One have a business to run, culminating with a market day at the end of term. Each of the students has been busy working on an AKO (investigation) into their product and have posted about them individually on their blogs, they are also looking for feedbacks in the forms of Polls, Surveys or Comments about their product.
