Crowley Cup Netball Final 2016

The Y5/6 Crowley Cup competition culminated in two unbeaten teams playing each other in the final. Rahotu had topped their pool and travelled to Auroa School to face the Auroa Primary School team that had also been through pool play and then a tough semi-final against Matapu School and were also undefeated. The final was an incredibly tense affair of four ten minute quarters - forty minutes in total. The second half saw both teams battling for mid-court dominance and restricting score opportunities, however Auroa had managed to take a lead into half time and Rahotu couldn't quite close the gap. The 17-9 win to Auroa Y5/6 Netball was their first win in the competition. Highlights filmed by Jackson R at Auroa Primary School on Tuesday 5th July.
