Boys Rugby League Y5/6 Highlights

This is our final video from the Howie Tamati Cup, highlights of the game between Auroa Primary School (in Blue with Orange trim) against Waitara East School (in light blue).    We would like to acknowledge Danielle from Room Two and Aston from Room Three who were named in the tournament team.  Auroa finished fifth in the tournament, only missing out on the semi-finals play off on points difference.  Most of the team will be looking forward to the term two competition in rugby union against other local schools - which we will be filming and processing the highlights of.   These highlights were filmed by Jack from Room One, who also edited and processed the footage with the assistance of Riley M.  Filmed on Tuesday 15th April 2014.

Y5/6 League Vs. St Pius/Merrilands

This is the second to last highlights game from this weeks Taranaki Y5/6 Howie Tamati Cup. Auroa School were able to win the Coastal Competition and qualify for this final. It was incredibly tough going at the finals, Auroa finishing 5th and missing out on the top four play offs on points differential. Congratulations to Normanby School who won the final. This game saw Auroa take on the combined Merrilands/St Pius team from New Plymouth. Auroa are in their blue with orange and St Pius/Merrivale are in the Green. These students are all Y5/6 which makes them 10 or 11 years of age. Auroa was able to win the game 24-16. Filmed by Jack at the tournament and edited by Jack and Riley M.
