Mathematical Collaboration: Worser Bay Primary School

Our friends at Worser Bay Primary School last week were on School Camp, as part of that they produced a series of Mathematical Equations that we were able to solve and work on in class. That inspired us, in turn to come up with a series of Mathematical Problems created by our students, for their students to solve. They are displayed in the slideshow shown below.

Welcome Back to School for 2018 - from France!

Our very good friends from CM2 in Brindas School wanted to do something special to welcome their friends from the Southern Hemisphere, so they created a Star Wars Themed Video mentioning our School, Worser Bay Primary School and Woodend School from Australia.  You can click on the link to their amazing video here. 

Worser Bay Primary School Play and Poem Night

One of the highlights of our year has been the collaboration with Worser Bay Primary School, our students have been in regular contact with their class over Skype connecting with reading and sharing details of school events and what has been happening at each other schools.

Worser Bay Primary School are located in Wellington, in a city, Auroa Primary School is located in South Taranaki in country side so we have discovered that there are lots of differences between ourselves and them - based around where we are and how that we live!

We created some Haiku, Japanese Poetry, themed about Auroa Primary School.   Our friends from Worser Bay Primary School shared these with their community on their special 'Poem and Play Extravaganza! on Thursday night at their school.  You can see footage of this amazing night on their fantastic class blog here! 

Lunches Around the World Collaboration!

Our friends at Worser Bay Primary School have been looking at lunches around the world and some of our international friends have been able to collaborate and contribute to this fantastic project. A number of classrooms have written and described how they order their classroom lunches, and we've contributed to this project, which you can view by looking at this fantastic slideshow.

R3 Mathematical Arrays

Our friends from Worser Bay Primary School shared with us some great ideas about using Mathematical arrays to help with the learning of our times tables! We loved the idea and decided to create our own versions in the classroom and outside the classroom. You can click on thier original post here.

R3 Friendship Day - Designs
