This is Teague's Poetry for the #clrpoem idea that was created by Catherine Monagham from A Room with a View. Teague from Room Three completed this amazing poem with a theme of 'Red' during the School holidays.

Teague did an amazing job to do this, and feature a significant local (New Plymouth) landmark, the wind wand.

Inter School Athletics 9-10 Boys Relay

Last Thursday 6th March Auroa School took part in the Inter School Athletics Competition. The team competed at Victoria Park, Kaponga against St Patricks Kaponga, Kaponga School, Manaia School and Matapu School. Auroa were the defending Champions so it was important that everyone tried their best in every race. You will know from reading this Blog that Auroa had already won the 9-10 Year Old Girls race and that featured students from Room Three, well we also had two runners in the 9-10 Year Old Boys race - Jos and Teague, and we filmed is that race. Filmed at Kaponga on Thursday 6th March, 2015. This movie was produced by Jos, Brody and Tyson.

Traditional Maori Hand Games

Our students have been learning games as part of Kapa Haka.    This game is a Maori Traditional game that you use your hands to play with.   You need to be the last person that is left in the game, because you get out if you don't follow the proper pattern.   This video was recorded on Friday 15th August 2014.   Filmed by Teague from Room Four.
