Swimming Sports: Parents Vs. Pupils Vs. Staff Relay
The final event for our 2016 School Swimming Sports Competition was the Staff Vs. Pupil Vs. Students relay. A hotly contested competition between the three groups with pride and glory on the line. The students have traditionally been given a half length advantage in this race and then the adults were allowed to start following that (as you can see from the video). The race was incredibly close and the result is still in debate the following day - who finished first? Who touched the wall? Mr Bloor has filmed the finish at close quarters and while we await the definitive answer these highlights, filmed at the Stratford Swimming Pools will have to do in the meantime.

Swimming Sports Whanau Relay
Yesterday Auroa Primary School held their 2016 School Swimming Sports at Stratford Swimming Pools. The second to last event of the day was the Whanau relay. Students at Auroa Primary School are placed in one of four whanau for competition against each other. This 4x25m Relay was an open event and featured students from Y6-Y8 competing against each other.
