Mr Spice and Room 3's 2014: Pick a Path with Google Slides

This week in class we're completing work inspired by Room Three 2014: Mr Spice and his class made Pick-A-Path adventures that were created in Google Slides and the paths that were available were created by clicking on the Hyper Links. It really is an amazing creation and the students from last year created some sensational work. You can click on the link to the original here, and these instructions were created by two of Mr Spice's students.

Experimenting in Room Three: Guest Post by Jorja

In Room Three the students are currently looking at experiments.  Over the last two weeks Room Three has rotated around the four other senior classes at Auroa Primary School conducting a series of brilliant experiments.  Yesterday the students were lucky enough to be in Room Four, Mr Spice's Class.  There the students carried out an experiment.  Rather than talk about it, we'd like to show you exactly what they did, and Jorja from Room Three is going to show you this amazing presentation that she created as a result of being there:

This is just a small sample of the amazing work that Jorja has been producing for her fantastic individual student blog. You can click on the link here to check out the rest of her amazing work.

Rm3: More MOA Awards Excellence

Since so many of you loved the post from Room Eight from the MOA Awards we'd thought that we would continue highlighting some other amazing work from some of the Auroa Primary Schools Finalists.   Room Three were also nominated for the Supreme Award, for this simply stunning video from their students 'Around the World'.  The story and all the work are original.  Its a breathtaking piece of work from a fantastic group of students who received the recognition that they deserved.   Mr Spice's Room Three Class page is also fast approaching 30,000 blog hits, which for a first time blog, in its first year is a fantastic achievement.  You can click on the link to the Room Three Blog by clicking here.

Auroa Primary School students Holiday work - Rm 3

While it may be the school holidays here in New Zealand that hasn't stopped students from Auroa Primary School posting regularly during the school holidays. Those of you who are regular followers of this blog will have seen students like Tom posting as well as posts during the break from Riley, Blake, Heavenlee and Lucas and more. Emily has just posted a special post asking for photographs from students holidays or what students are doing at the moment if not on holidays. Miss Nicholas from Room Eight at Auroa Primary School has already started doing this and you can see some of her contributions here.

But did you also know that there are other students at Auroa Primary School posting during the break? If you click on the links to Rooms 2, Rooms 3 and Rooms 4 you can go to the class page and see the individual student blogs listed on the right hand side, altogether we have over 120 blogs
for our classrooms and  students.

Today we'd like to highlight some of the students from Room Three, Auroa Primary School.

Mr Spice has an amazing class page.  You can also see some sensational work from his year 5/6 students.   Abby has written an impressive report about ANZAC day dawn service at Manaia.  Jade wrote about her holiday in Rotorua.  You can see snaps of Katelyns holiday here.

You can click on all the hyperlinked work above or simply go directly to the class page.  Remember to make sure that you leave comments to the students blogs that you visit.

The students from Room One, Auroa Primary School, will be back online and in the classroom this coming Monday 5th May look forward to seeing you all then.
