Dear Room 3 and Mr Webb
What a wonderful video of your school. We enjoyed watching it and getting an idea of where you are.
Thanks so much for replying to our comment. We are excited to get to know a class in New Zealand, just across the Tasman Sea from us. Our school is quite different to yours in that we are only 15 minutes from the capital city of Tasmania, Hobart. Most of us live within 10 minutes of school and a big majority of students walk or ride their bike. We live in a big suburb and less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. At our school there are probably, at the most, 20 children who live on acreage, up to 5 acres maybe.
Mrs E grew up on dairy farms, at Cluan and Yolla on the NW Coast of Tassie, so she has taught us a thing or two about dairy farming. Jersey cows are still close to her heart even though her parents sold their farm about 10 years ago.
We are quite envious of your technology! Our class has only 4 ipad minis and three desktop computers, plus the teacher's computer with the smart board. We are learning about blogging and loving it. Mrs E has only been blogging for this term with a class but had a mummy craft blog when she was a SAHM. Our regular teacher is away on LSL for the term. Hopefully we can continue with our blog next term when he returns. Mrs E might be able to help us as she spends a lot of her time at our school as nearly a live-in relief teacher!!!
    We have to go now.
    Hopefully we can chat tomorrow.
