Thank you Mrs Yollis

There are many wonderful educators who are around the world who we've had the pleasure to be in contact with. One of the very best Bloggers in the world, and we can say that because she's had 1.4 million page views, is Mrs Yollis whose a classroom teacher in the USA. She has an amazing blog which you can click on here. She also has a fantastic Photo Blog where she features photos from around the world.

The latest photograph on her blog is one that was taken from our school field, it was taken by one of our students and showed our local landmark, Mount Taranaki, in all its splendour.

  1. @ Mr. Webb and students,

Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! You really made my day!

I thoroughly enjoy blogging and our photo-of-the-day blog has become a favorite of mine. Thank you for submitting a photo! We had quite a discussion about your volcano today. We are curious to learn how often it erupts and if it has erupted recently. This morning, we used your "About Us" page and learned all about Mount Taranaki. We then used World Book Online to research general facts about volcanoes.

Like you, we live in the Ring of Fire region. We will be researching to see where our nearest volcano is located.

Please feel free to submit more photos to our collaborative 365 blog. Here are the directions and the email address for anyone who would like to participate:

Thanks again for being so thoughtful!

    Warmly,

    1. Thanks for your comments, as always Mrs Yollis. I have showed your site to our students and of course they love it and love having the mention from someone who is so famous such as yourself. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave the comment.

I was happy to see that you mention Mrs. Yollis as a model for blogging.

I have been showing teachers the work she does with blogging, and she has been an excellent model to convince other teachers to have their students blog.
