Taranaki the Kiwi Adventures Continue

Thank you for your visit - it is currently the school holidays in New Zealand and our school students are on their summer break.  Our students will be back at school on January 28th for the start of the new school year.

In the meantime one of the projects that we've been involved with in 2016 was an exchange of mascots with different schools around the world.  We are currently hosting 'Foxy Jack' a Fox sent to us by Mrs Monaghan in the UK! We have sent 'Taranaki' the Kiwi to the USA were Taranaki is currently being hosted by Mrs Yollis and her class of students - and not only that Taranaki has just been on holiday to Hawaii...

We've got a special guest in Room Three this week - all the way from Mrs Monaghan's Class in the UK in England - Foxy Jack, whose a visitor here at Auroa. As part of his adventures Aroha, one of our students took him home for the afternoon and took a series of pictures with Foxy Jack at her house and farm. She then created an imovie

We were very excited today when we received a parcel from Mrs Monghan in the UK as we thought that it would be 'Foxy Jack' a toy that was part of a series of exchanges going on with classrooms around the world and it was! Aroha, Tiani, Ashley and Kadian took Foxy Jack for a tour of Auroa Primary School and took these photographs!
