Lunches Around the World Collaboration!

Our friends at Worser Bay Primary School have been looking at lunches around the world and some of our international friends have been able to collaborate and contribute to this fantastic project. A number of classrooms have written and described how they order their classroom lunches, and we've contributed to this project, which you can view by looking at this fantastic slideshow.

You can see what our friends in France think about the project here:

This is a real pleasure, for my Students and I, to collaborate on such interesting topics. Thanks a lot to all the Students and Teachers around the World to share their knowledge, to show us their way of life... and above all to offer us their friendship !

  2. Hello. I’m Allan from Mrs. Kriese’s class in Texas.
I think the slide is pretty interesting. Here in Texas at West Ridge, usually, people buy the classic salad, pizza, or chicken sandwich from the cafeteria. However, I just bring lunch. I actually never knew that certain days would have certain foods.

  3. Hello. This is Allan from Mrs. Kiese’s class in Texas.
I have to say that I didn’t know people have lunch like this. In our cafeteria, we only have a few options, but I din’t know you have a special meal every day. I usually bring my lunch so I don’t have to worry about that though.

  4. Hello. This is James from Mrs. Kriese's class in Texas.
I think it is pretty cool how culture developed so differently around the world. Here in Texas we can either take our lunch or buy lunch. The cafeteria is usually extremely loud. I didn't know it could be so different.

  5. Hello. This is James from Mrs. Kriese’s class in Texas. I did not know that lunch could be so different around the world. In Texas we eat in a cafeteria which is usually really noisy. We either take or buy our lunch. I never knew some parts of the world could have so different ways of life for things as simple as lunch!

  6. Hello, this is Erik from Mrs. Kriese’s class at West Ridge. I find it very cool how you did this investigation. I was very surprised how the most used material was compostible. I hope that you guys keep doing investigations similiar to this. I was also impressed how most of the pictures were packed lunches. Most of our lunches at our school are bought at the school. 8. This is Andrew from Mrs. Kriese's class in Austin, Texas. In my school, you can pick what you eat, not the chef. We have a salad bar, pizza, sandwiches, and lots of other things. I mostly pack a lunch, but sometimes I get a quick snack from the lunch line. If you want to visit my blog: http://edublogs.eanesisd.net/andrew4416/
