  1. Hi, my name is Ian. You probably don't know me I live in Austin, Texas. I love animals and it would be my dream to have a day where I could bring my animals to school. I recently saved up and bought a rhinoceros iguana. Her name is Roxy. She is my pride and joy. I also have 2 dogs, 2 birds, and 2 rhinoceros beetle larvae(The larvae are mine) but the rest are family pets. My grandparents used to have horses when I was a kid and I adored them. Sadly we have to get rid of them. Thank you for sharing your cool school lives and I hope you liked mine.

  2. In Texas we don't have this. It's very uncommon to have a lamb. Is having a lamb common in New Zealand?

  3. In Texas we don’t get to bring our animals to school. I wish we could but then again I don’t know a lot of people with calf’s or lambs. I have a ranch and we have lots of cows. Is having a lamb or calf there like having a dog or cat here?

  4. Hi, my name is Connor and I live in Austin as well. In Austin having a lamb or calf is going to get you a lot of weird looks because that's not common here at all. Is it normal just to see someone walking around on a street with a lamb? Let me know my blog is at http://edublogs.eanesisd.net/connor4325/

  5. Hello. My name is James and I’m from Mrs. Kriese’s class. I live in Austin, Texas. I think it is really cool how you get to take your animals to school. Here everyone has dogs and cats but no one takes them to school. I think it is cool how we get to learn about each other’s culture.

  7. Hi! My name is Rachela and I’m from Ms. Kriese’s class in Austin, Texas. I don’t think many people at our school have calf’s and lambs. A lot of people just have dogs and cats, but it’s so cool that your school can do this. Do a lot of people have these pets?

  8. I'm Andrew in Mrs. Kriese's class in Austin, Texas. That's really cool how you can bring animals to school. At my school, you can't bring animals to school, like dogs and cats. But bringing a lamb and calf is probably better and cooler than bringing a dog or cat to school. Does everyone bring their animals to school on Lamb and Calf Day?

  9. Hello. I’m Peyton from Mrs. Kriese’s class in Texas. This is so cool how y’all get to bring your lamb to school, if I had a lamb that would be so cool and so much fun. Believe it or not I’ve never seen a lamb before cows, horses, sheep, but never a lamb. If you’d like to visit my blog, I’m at http://edublogs.eanesisd.net/peyton87782023/

  10. Hi, my name is Aoibhin. I am from mrs.krieses class in Austin, Texas.
I think it's really cool that you had a calf and lamb day! It's not common in Austin to have a calf or lamb. Most people have dogs or cats here, and it sounds just as common to have a calf or lamb there.

  13. Hello! I am Scarlett. I live in Austin, Texas. I am in Mrs. Kriese's class, like most people in the comments as of late. I find it really intriguing that you bring calves and lambs to school. Not only do I, unfortunately, not get to do this, I actually have none of those as pets at all. You could definitely say it's kind of boring to only have 2 dogs and 2 cats, but I love them to bits. 14. Hello, my name is Mazbeen and I'm from Mrs. Kriese's class in Austin, Texas. In Austin we don't usually have lambs and calves as pets, so we don't celebrate things like Lamb and Calf Day, but we do have Celebration West Ridge at our school. In Celebration West Ridge, we have games like ring toss, we have food trucks, moon bounces, and dunk the teacher booths!

I had a fun time reading about Lamb and Calf Day.
