Today in class we had a special delivery - a pair of postcards that had come all the way to us from the United Kingdom. They were sent to us by our friends from Room Seven, Hopwood School in the UK. They have be learning about volcanoes for their unit of study and as a lot of you who regularly follow our blog know, we have a volcano that dominates the local landscape - Mount Taranaki! We were very excited to receive something from the other side of the world - these photos are taken with our own local volcano in the background!

Hello Mr Webb and Room Three,
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see that our postcards have arrived! I'm also quite impressed how quickly they arrived. I can't wait to show Class 7 your blog post with their postcards in tomorrow. We'll also be celebrating World Book Day tomorrow and our school is having a Harry Potter theme, so they might be dressed as witches and wizards at the time. Thank you for posting the pictures too, they're great!
