It might be the School Holidays at the moment but there's always an opportunity to learn. At the moment nearly half of the students from Room Three have posted during the holidays which is wonderful.
One of our friends, Mrs Yollis, has a new Poetry Project which the details of which are on her wonderful class page. The original idea and the start of the project came from another of our online friends, Mrs Monaghan from A Room with View
You can read the details here.
Currently the project is 'red' however during the coming weeks all the colours of the visible spectrum are going to be covered. 'Red' is just the current theme, as it is suggested you could create a whole range of poetry based activities.
There are lots of suggestions of possible activities that you carry out. You could create a couplet, triplet or a haiku. You could save that into your technology and then you can either publish it onto your blog or bring it into School on Monday.
Have a think about how you could present it, what it might look like. There is going to be a special prize for this for any students from Room Three who can complete the task during our School holidays and secondly we'll have a significant prize for the best effort.
We'd also like to thank all of University students from Southern Alabama who have been leaving comments on the blogs of the students from Room Three, Auroa Primary School. We really appreciate the EDM310 feedback for our students and #comments4kids
