Q&A for our Friends in France
We had the Auroa School Triathlon - today, the first major event of 2016 for our students. That meant we had only a block this morning to complete our answer videos for our friends from Brindas School in Lyon, France. They've already created a series of videos and questions for us in New Zealand and we're answering some of their awesome questions below - you can click on this link for their original video or here for their class page.
Its our first effort in using iMovie for some of our students and we are also collaborating with another class for the first time from another country.
This video was created by Aroha and Ashley and answers the questions about what beautiful places are:
This is for Cm2 at Brindas from myles webb on Vimeo.
The girls choose three locations for their answer: Dawson Falls - which is a local attraction, Lake Taupo and a place that Aroha visited during her holidays, Tane Mahuta, the largest and oldest tree in New Zealand.
CM2 from myles webb on Vimeo.
Paige had a special challenge - she was the only one from her group that was present and needed to complete the task herself - and she did an amazing job. Her question was about how expensive it was in New Zealand and how much do things cost.
Jamesen's Questions for Brindas School, France from myles webb on Vimeo.
Jamesen and Jackson R had a tricky question related to currency - the students from Brindas School wanted to know what our currency was and also how many Euros it was worth. Our boys did an amazing job with their video.
