It was built in January 28 ,1887. The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel. The Eiffel Tower was built for the world fair. It was supposed to be up for a year then be demolished but it stayed up because it was popular.
After the Eiffel tower was finished it was taller than the Great Pyramid of Giza and became the tallest tower in the world.
The Eiffel Tower has 20,000 light bulbs and it lights up at night. The Eiffel Tower is an iconic (famous) building all around the world.
I would like to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower but a flight to Paris cost to much and i live way too far from Paris .
