Aroha's Information Report on the Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower. 
It was built in January 28 ,1887. The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel. The Eiffel Tower was built for the world fair. It was supposed to be up for a year then be demolished but it stayed up because it was popular. After the Eiffel tower was finished it was taller than the Great Pyramid of Giza and became the tallest tower in the world. The Eiffel Tower has 20,000 light bulbs and it lights up at night. The Eiffel Tower is an iconic (famous) building all around the world. I would like to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower but a flight to Paris cost to much and i live way too far from Paris . Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal was designed in 1631 and it finished in 1653. The Taj Mahal is located in India. The Taj Mahal was recognised as Jewel of Muslim art, in India. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Often the Taj Mahal is mistaken as a palace, this is a very famous building. The Taj Mahal was actually built as a tomb for the Empire’s wife after she died giving birth to her 14th child. When the Taj Mahal was getting built they started to get bricks and carrying them on elephants. It took 33 years to build and when it had been completed it was 1653 it was located in India. When the Taj Mahal was finished Shah Jahan ordered that every single worker had to have one of their hand amputated so the Taj Mahal couldn't be recreated again. The cost to get in the Taj Mahal is 1000 rupees which in New Zealand it is $22. Taj Mahal is 73 metres to the tippy top. I wish that I could go to India and see the Taj Mahal but I live too far away. It would be awesome if I could go to the Taj Mahal. It is an awesome place so you should go check it out.
