We made them with the older children, but our younger children want to have a go. How about looking at the photos, working out what we did (it's not too difficult but I can tell you a little more about it if you need) and writing a set of instructions for our Y3/4 ( 7- 9 year olds) who want to have a go at doing it for themselves? I'd like them to have a go at making a French game, to test each other's vocabulary knowledge.
Let me know if you take up the challenge!
Mrs Monaghan
PS The post is at http://aroomwithaview.edublogs.org/2015/05/31/roman-numerals-mixing-maths-and-science/Mrs Monaghanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00580874869403316436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3395875237902275712.post-65489801686267997282015-05-30T12:20:54.165+12:002015-05-30T12:20:54.165+12:00Fabulous, we celebrate Matariki each year at my sc...Fabulous, we celebrate Matariki each year at my school so I will share the star idea with @npseileen @newmarketschool.Sonya Van Schaijikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14911228364687589980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3395875237902275712.post-66010091579992424862015-05-30T12:18:51.397+12:002015-05-30T12:18:51.397+12:00Instruction on how to use a 3D printer. However, when viewing some menus for restaurants in New Zealand, I discovered that you may already know what Reubens and Runzas (meat pies) are. So, I decided to teach you how to make a transforming star. Please let me know how it goes and if you have any tips for me to make my procedures clearer!

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1GQ8_6XnIn1o-MIp_XXLoQvTKK_Z4Doh6-Gfrl1XJ9cU/edit#slide=id.p

Mrs. Crain
Iowa, USAMrs. Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01140141158103183562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3395875237902275712.post-61956726378163496642015-05-27T12:11:29.817+12:002015-05-27T12:11:29.817+12:00Mr Kemp

That's something that we could certainly do and look to extend our students learning.
Mr WebbMyles Webbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11704260211657629525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3395875237902275712.post-41076344118868973782015-05-27T11:31:27.387+12:002015-05-27T11:31:27.387+12:00This is a tricky one - I think it would be amazing...This is a tricky one - I think it would be amazing if you wrote instructions on travelling to Singapore and getting to our school (Avondale Grammar School). OR you could write instructions for making a bowl of Laksa in Singapore :)
Let me know how you go!
Mr Kemp (in Singapore)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18387349839908331292noreply@blogger.com
